Werwolf was one of Hitler's headquarters during the war. It was situated in a pine forest near the Ukrainian town of Vinnitsa, chosen for its strategic location near the frontline in the East. Adolf Hitler used this FHQ for 3 stays between July 1942 and March 1943 (the longest one between 16 July and 1st November 1942).
