Wolfsschlucht I was the headquarters used by Adolf Hitler during the campaign of France in June 1940. The HQ was constructed in 2 weeks in the Belgian village of Brûly-de-Pesche, about 10 kms of the French border. Hitler first arrived on 6 June 1940, and stayed until 27 June, after the defeat of France and the armistice.
